Read Me Windows
INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
To install, simply run INSTALL.EXE found on the CD-ROM from the
Program Manager by choosing FILE-RUN. The installation is totally non
invasive and consists solely of creating a Program Group and Icons which point
to the applications on the CD-ROM drive. Remember that these icons will not
work unless the CYBER PEEP CD-ROM is in your drive! Once the install is complete,
simply click on the CYBER PEEP icon in the Vista St. Entertainment Program Group to
begin.
A NOTE ON YOUR NEW ICONS
1. CYBER PEEP- This is your CYBER PEEP application icon, simply double click on this
to begin.
2. Read Me- This notepad file will bring up this read me file for any further reference
neccesary.
3. Movie Player- This application can be used to view the movie files (.MOV) directly if
you so desire.
WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF POOR PLAYBACK
1. If playback speed is insufficient, the QuickTime files (.MOV) can be played directly
using the Movie Player application (the icon should be in your Vista St. Entertainment
program group).
2. Make sure Windows is using a display driver that will provide 256 colors or higher.
This application is not designed for 16 color displays.
3. Certain high-resolution video cards may require updated driver software to function
properly with Quicktime for Windows. Contact your video board manufacturer to see if
newer driver software is available.
4. If the program loads in the wrong colors, try quitting, and setting the wallpaper to
none in Windows-Control Panel-Desktop.
5. The Sony CDU-31A CD-ROM player shipped with Gateway Multimedia
systems before 1994, have reported problems in playing back QuickTime for
Windows files. If you should encounter this problem, please report it to
Gateway and/or Sony.
